Peking University School of Stomatology – Once Again Ranked No. 1 Among Stomatological Hospitals in the National Evaluation of Tertiary Public Hospital Performance
On 30 March 2021, the report of the National Evaluation of Tertiary Public Hospital Performance in 2019 was released. A total of 2,413 hospitals nationwide were evaluated by the National Health Commission, with Peking University School of Stomatology (PKU-SS) once again ranking No. 1 among those hospitals specializing in stomatology.
Tertiary public hospitals represent the top medical institutions designated by the National Health Commission of China, providing state-of-the-art clinical treatment, innovative scientific research and rigorous medical education.
Of the 41 hospitals specializing in stomatology that were evaluated, PKU-SS obtained 941 points, as well as ranking level A in the national monitoring index. PKU-SS achieved excellent results in all four evaluation parameters: medical quality, operational efficiency, sustainable development and satisfaction evaluation. This is the second consecutive time in 2 years that the PKU-SS has been ranked first among stomatological hospitals, ever since the national evaluation scheme was initiated.
Our hospital, as the National Center of Stomatology, will continue to focus on oral health, and the quality of oral services and management, and will strive to continue playing a leading role in further improving the country's high-quality and efficient oral health service system.
